This standard deck girder bridge crosses 6th Street, near the UP Ioway Creek Bridge.
The bridge was originally constructed to carry the Chicago & North Western over a small creek. The bridge was eventually used to cross 6th Street.
It is set onto concrete encased stone substructures. It was built in 1900 for a double tracking project. A previous bridge at this location was likely a wooden trestle.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
Fortunately, this bridge remains in good condition. The photo above is an overview.
